Niagara Couple Arrested in Shocking Sexual Assault Case

A couple from Niagara has been arrested in connection with a sexual assault investigation in the region. The investigation, spanning from 2022 to 2025, focused on multiple incidents involving three separate victims.

James McManamon, 39, of Port Colborne, and Jennifer Harrigan, 29, of Niagara Falls, were apprehended on Wednesday. McManamon faces three charges of sexual assault, while Harrigan is accused of inviting/counseling sexual exploitation of a young person.

Harrigan’s association with the gymnastics and cheerleading communities has raised concerns, with Niagara police suspecting the possibility of additional victims coming forward.

Both individuals remain in custody and are scheduled to appear at bail hearings on Thursday.
