The busy intersection of Bloor and Yonge Streets in Toronto was shut down for safety reasons after chunks of ice fell from buildings.
Toronto police took swift action, closing off Yonge Street from Bloor to Hayden Street in both directions around 7 p.m. The ice was reported to be coming from two different buildings.
