Toronto police reported a tragic incident where a pedestrian lost their life in a collision with a truck in Etobicoke. The incident occurred at the intersection of Islington Avenue and Dixon Road around 9 a.m. Emergency responders arrived promptly, but unfortunately, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck stayed at the site following the accident. As investigations continue, the area around Islington and Dixon is currently closed off.
