Excitement is in the air as the winning ticket for Friday’s Lotto Max jackpot worth $55 million has been confirmed to have been sold in the Ottawa area. Ontario lottery officials have revealed that the lucky ticket was purchased in the United Counties of Prescott and Russell.
The winning numbers drawn on Friday were 9, 21, 26, 31, 34, 36, and 43, with the bonus number 46. Additionally, the Encore number for the draw is 1346438.
This win marks the first significant lottery jackpot of the year, following closely on the heels of an $80 million jackpot won by a ticket sold in London just before the new year. Adding to the excitement, lottery officials also announced that a $100,000 winning Encore ticket was sold in Ajax.
