OPP Investigation Traces Elnaz Hajtamiri’s Abduction All the Way to Dubai

Ontario Provincial Police are steadfast in their pursuit of answers on the fourth anniversary of Elnaz Hajtamiri’s disappearance.

The OPP reiterated their commitment to uncovering the truth about what befell Elnaz, acknowledging the toll her absence has taken on her loved ones. The investigation’s reach extends to Timmins, the Greater Toronto Area, Québec, and even Dubai, United Arab Emirates, hinting at potential leads in these regions.

Elnaz Hajtamiri was forcibly taken from a residence in Wasaga Beach in 2022 by three individuals masquerading as law enforcement. Since then, she has not been sighted.

Authorities suspect that she was abducted in a white Lexus RX SUV and have tied this incident to a previous assault on Hajtamiri in a Richmond Hill parking lot. The assault involved her being struck with a frying pan by a group of men, including her ex-boyfriend who now faces charges related to her presumed demise.

Described as five feet four inches tall with brown hair and eyes, Elnaz was last seen wearing a dark knitted sweater, black tights, and light-coloured socks. The OPP urges anyone with information related to her case to come forward and assist in bringing closure to her family and friends.
