Tragic Accident Claims Life of Five-Year-Old in ATV Crash
A devastating incident unfolded in Brudenell, Lyndoch, and Raglan Township as a five-year-old child lost their life in a heartbreaking ATV accident on a private property. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) launched a thorough investigation involving multiple units following the tragic incident.
The collision took place shortly after 11 a.m. on January 10, with emergency responders rushing to the scene where a tracked ATV had collided with a tree. Shockingly, the child was the sole operator of the vehicle and was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Despite immediate medical attention, the child was initially taken by ambulance to a local hospital and subsequently airlifted to a regional trauma center. Tragically, the young victim succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.
As authorities seek to unravel the circumstances leading to the accident, a post-mortem examination has been arranged to shed light on the tragic event.
