A Montreal nightclub is hosting what it calls a tongue-in-cheek “retirement bash” for Quebec Premier François Legault this weekend, just days after the premier announced his resignation.

Muzique nightclub, located on Saint-Laurent Boulevard, says the event is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 17, and is being touted as the “premier” place to be.
Organizers say admission will be free for anyone who shows their SAAQclic login, a reference to the province’s troubled online automobile and licensing system.

Music at the event will be provided by DJs Keith Dean, Chops and Dwayne B, with hosting duties handled by Dag Philippo and Wala.
Legault announced Wednesday that he would be stepping down as Quebec’s premier.
