Jonathan Boisvert, a delighted diner, described the experience as nothing short of “wow”, perfectly capturing the essence of what this innovative concept aims to deliver.

With a limited capacity of 32 guests per night, attendees have the opportunity to engage with art in unconventional ways, with each course drawing inspiration from legendary artists such as Picasso, Michelangelo, and Banksy.

Jawad Akil, the director of operations at Hyatt Centric Montreal, expressed the overwhelming success of the event, catering to a diverse range of guests from families to couples seeking a unique date night experience.

The interactive element of the evening was particularly highlighted by Rosaline Boisvert, who marveled at the creative use of objects on the table to interact with the food, creating a truly engaging and enjoyable atmosphere.

Blending the realms of culinary and visual art, the experience encourages guests not only to savor the delectable dishes but also to partake in painting, storytelling, and solving art-inspired riddles, resulting in a multi-sensory spectacle of color, music, emotion, and engagement.

Indulge in a culinary extravaganza featuring exquisite creations such as veal carpaccio with herb-lime crust and truffle mayonnaise, walleye fillet infused with cinnamon and lavender, and a vibrant vegetable painting with spinach-coconut, beetroot, and pumpkin purée. For meat lovers, a succulent grilled beef tenderloin awaits, alongside a decadent chocolate painting on coconut meringue.

With a variety of dietary options available, including vegetarian and gluten-free selections, the experience caters to all preferences, ensuring a memorable evening for every guest.

Priced at $149 per person plus taxes, reservations are highly recommended due to the limited seating capacity. The Art of Dining takes place every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Centric Montreal – Horizon Rooftop until April 30.
