Tragic Incident in New Westminster Parking Lot Claims Woman’s Life
A tragic incident in a parking lot in New Westminster has resulted in the death of a woman, according to the New Westminster Police Department (NWPD).
The unfortunate event took place on Boyd Street near Howe, just before 5 p.m., when the woman was struck while walking in the lot, as reported by the NWPD.
Following the collision, the pedestrian was promptly taken to the hospital, where authorities later confirmed her passing.
The driver involved in the incident remained at the scene and is fully cooperating with the police investigation.
