On Friday evening, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while walking along Highway 1, resulting in the individual being hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred near 160th Street in the westbound lanes, prompting a response from the Surrey Police Service shortly after 8:30 p.m. Sergeant Tige Pollock stated that the driver involved in the accident stayed at the scene and is assisting the authorities with their investigation.
