Authorities are actively investigating a reported robbery at Willowbrook Mall, leading to a young individual being hospitalized for severe injuries. The incident unfolded at the shopping center situated on Fraser Highway close to 197th Street on a Saturday afternoon, prompting a swift response from officers.
Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement discovered a juvenile victim who seemed to have been attacked with a weapon. Sgt. Zynal Sharoom stated that there is currently no imminent threat to the general public, as indications point towards a targeted attack.
