“Water Woes: Pointe-Claire SAAQ Shuts Down Temporarily After Suffering Water Damage”

The Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) service centre located in Pointe-Claire is facing a temporary closure due to water damage. The closure of the center on Saint-Jean Boulevard is expected to last for an unspecified period of time. The exact cause of the water damage has not been disclosed by the province’s auto insurance board.

Efforts are underway to carry out emergency repairs; however, the SAAQ has cautioned that the process of cleaning and securing the building, which is under third-party ownership, might prolong the closure.

In response to the situation, the SAAQ has assured that individuals with appointments will be contacted to reschedule their visits at alternative service centers. Alternatively, clients have the option to delay their appointments in Pointe-Claire.

Acknowledging the inconvenience this may cause to its customers, the SAAQ has expressed gratitude for their understanding and cooperation during this period of service disruption.
