“Surrey Police Unveil Suspect Images in High-Stakes Firearm Probe”

The Surrey Police Service (SPS) is seeking public assistance in connection with a recent firearm-related incident. They have released images of two individuals involved in the case and are urging any witnesses, victims, or associates to come forward and aid in the ongoing investigation.

On Monday, police responded to reports of a possible gunshot in the vicinity of 129 Street and 84 Avenue around 4 a.m. Subsequently, officers apprehended the driver and a passenger of a suspect vehicle in the area. A loaded handgun was confiscated during the arrests.

The individuals in question have been identified as 20-year-old Harshdeep Singh and 21-year-old Hanspreet Singh. Harshdeep faces charges for dangerous operation of a vehicle, while both he and Hanspreet are charged with occupying a vehicle where a firearm was present. The SPS has hinted at the possibility of additional charges being filed as the investigation progresses.

Both men are described as foreign nationals by the police. Although the exact motive behind the incident remains undisclosed, the SPS has provided the Surrey Extortion Tip Line contact number (236-485-5149) for any relevant information.
