The Richmond RCMP is seeking new information in the unsolved murder case of Kim Stolberg, a young woman who was tragically killed over four decades ago. On the evening of Dec. 4, 1985, while speaking with her sister at their family office on River Road, Stolberg encountered an unfamiliar person before abruptly ending the call. Subsequently, she was discovered dead from stab wounds within the premises.
Staff Sgt. Gene Hsieh emphasizes the importance of public assistance in solving this cold case, stating that even the smallest detail could lead to identifying the perpetrator. Despite the passage of time, the authorities remain dedicated to seeking justice for Stolberg and her loved ones.
To engage the community, the RCMP has released a video summarizing the case and the ongoing investigation, aiming to reach individuals who may have pertinent information. Residents, past and present, are urged to watch and share the video to broaden the search for answers.
