The BC RCMP has revealed the identities of the eight individuals who tragically lost their lives in the Tumbler Ridge shooting that occurred on Tuesday.
Among the victims are six individuals who were fatally shot at the town’s high school. Additionally, there are two victims who were found deceased in a residence on Fellers Avenue.
Expressing profound sympathy, Deputy Commissioner Dwayne McDonald, BC RCMP Commanding Officer, conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families who are grappling with the loss of their loved ones. He extended this sentiment to the entire Tumbler Ridge community, acknowledging the collective grief being experienced.
Assuring ongoing support to the affected families, honoring their requests, and standing in solidarity with the community as they embark on the challenging path of healing is a commitment from the BC RCMP.
