Abbotsford Shocker: Two Pedestrians Hit in Alarming Vehicle Incident, Police Launch Investigation

Authorities in Abbotsford are currently probing a hit-and-run incident that occurred on Wednesday, involving two pedestrians who were subsequently hospitalized.

The Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) swiftly responded to the scene at the intersection of Ross and Simpson roads shortly after 7 p.m.

Upon arrival, emergency responders discovered two pedestrians who had been struck by a red or maroon Mazda sedan, according to AbbyPD officials.

The Mazda sedan reportedly fled the scene heading westbound on Simpson Road.

Both pedestrians were transported to the hospital, with one sustaining serious but non-life-threatening injuries, confirmed law enforcement.

Investigators are seeking any potential witnesses, especially the driver of a white Tesla that was purportedly in the vicinity at the time of the collision.

Authorities believe this Tesla driver may have valuable information or video footage crucial to the investigation.
