“Digital Footprint Unveils Disturbing Trail of Violent Engagements by Tumbler Ridge Suspect”

Troubling online revelations linked to the suspect of the Tumbler Ridge shooting are surfacing, shedding light on a troubled individual with apparent mental health issues and a disturbing fascination with violence.

Roblox, a popular game aimed at children offering creative opportunities, was misused by Jesse Van Rootselaar to create a virtual shopping mall exclusively selling firearms, encouraging users to engage in simulated shooting sprees.

The developers of the game swiftly took action, removing the controversial content and disabling Van Rootselaar’s account to prevent further dissemination.

These distressing discoveries are just a glimpse into the suspect’s digital footprint, which includes accounts of psychotic episodes, childhood traumas, and a disturbing interest in notorious mass shooters.

Despite a significant portion of Van Rootselaar’s online history having been erased prior to the tragic school shooting in B.C., investigative efforts are ongoing. Archived posts from a suspected Reddit account hint at a fascination with weapons, including modified firearms.

References to mental health concerns are also present, with one post recounting a harrowing experience with hallucinogens and subsequent psychiatric treatment.

Notably, reports from a separate online platform dedicated to graphic and morbid content unveil even more troubling insights. Accounts suggest a tumultuous childhood marked by witnessing a familial suicide attempt and a concerning attraction to violent imagery, along with indications of interest in notorious school shooters.

The BC RCMP Deputy Commissioner, Dwayne McDonald, confirms that law enforcement is diligently pursuing all digital leads in this case, emphasizing the significance of online footprints in uncovering potential warning signs of violent behavior.
