Two kids hospitalized after vehicle accident in Montreal West
Two children were hospitalized with minor injuries following an accident involving a vehicle in Montreal West on a Monday morning. The incident occurred at the intersection of Westminster Ave. South and Ainslie Road around 7:50 a.m., prompting emergency services to respond to the scene after a 911 call was made.
According to the Montreal police (SPVM), a 36-year-old woman driving south on Westminster had stopped at a stop sign before moving forward. Unfortunately, while proceeding through the intersection, her vehicle hit two children, aged 12 and 13.
Both youngsters were taken to the hospital for evaluation, although their injuries are reported as minor and non-life-threatening. Authorities have determined the accident to be accidental, with no suspicions of criminal intent.
