Five individuals are in hot water after Ontario Provincial Police conducted raids on two residences in Midland and Barrie last week.
According to authorities, the raids on Feb. 12 resulted in the confiscation of nearly a kilogram of cocaine and over $41,000 in cash.
Among those facing charges are 32-year-old Jordan Brown from Barrie, 53-year-old Shelly Legault from Midland, 52-year-old Darin Roy also from Midland, and 55-year-old Steven Summers from Victoria Harbour. They are collectively accused of drug trafficking and possessing property obtained through illegal means under $5,000.
In addition, a fifth individual was apprehended on an unrelated warrant. Brown is further implicated in additional drug-related offenses following a subsequent search in Barrie.
The accused parties are scheduled to make their court appearances in Midland at the end of March.
