Police Seize Loaded Gun and Cocaine in Oakville Raid

Toronto authorities recently announced the successful seizure of a loaded firearm and a significant amount of cocaine during a targeted operation in Oakville.

Members of the Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force carried out search warrants in the Trafalgar Road and Upper Middle Road vicinity on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, as part of an ongoing investigation into gun-related activities.

The operation led to the discovery of a loaded Glock handgun equipped with a drum magazine, along with ammunition, in addition to a substantial quantity of cocaine believed to be intended for trafficking purposes.

Following the raid, two individuals, identified as Zari Ashman and Brooke Bonazza, both 27 years old and residents of Oakville, were taken into custody. They are facing multiple charges related to firearms possession and the possession of cocaine with intent to traffic.
