Montrealers should bundle up as flurries and a biting wind chill move through the city to end the weekend and kick off the new week.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada, a mix of sun and cloud brought a 30 per cent chance of flurries to the city Sunday, with temperatures reaching a high of minus-1 Celsius.
Wind chill made it feel as cold as minus-10 C this afternoon.
Sunday night will be mainly cloudy with northeast winds at 20 km/h. The temperature will drop to minus-8 C. Wind chill will make it feel like minus-7 C in the evening and minus-14 C overnight.
Monday will remain mainly cloudy, with northeast winds at 20 km/h gusting to 40. The high will reach minus-1 C, but wind chill will make it feel like minus-15 C in the morning and minus-7 C in the afternoon.
Clearing skies are expected Monday night, with temperatures falling to minus-15 C.
Sunshine returns Tuesday, but colder air lingers. The high will be minus-9 C, with periods of snow developing Tuesday night and a low of minus-13 C.
Snow continues Wednesday, with a high of minus-4 C and a low of minus-7 C.
Thursday will bring a mix of sun and cloud and a high of minus-2 C, with periods of snow Thursday night and a low of minus-6 C.
By Friday, temperatures moderate slightly with a mix of sun and cloud and a high of zero. Overnight temperatures will dip to minus-3 C under cloudy periods.
Looking ahead to Saturday, a mix of sun and cloud is forecast with a 40 per cent chance of flurries or rain showers and a high of plus-4 C.
