A woman suffered severe burns Monday evening after a trailer caught fire in Abbotsford.
The Abbotsford Police Department says patrol officers were driving westbound on Fraser Highway near Ross Road around 7:15 p.m., when they spotted a large plume of smoke.
First responders reportedly found the trailer “fully engulfed in flames” and a 68-year-old woman at the scene.
The woman was airlifted to hospital.
Police say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
