New Westminster police arrest two, seize drugs and weapons from RV

New Westminster police have arrested two people and seized cash, weapons, and illicit drugs from inside an RV in the Clute Street area.

The department’s Street Crime Unit launched an investigation in late 2025 when residents expressed concerns over drug trafficking and suspicious behaviour from people coming and going from the RV.

After a search warrant was granted, police say officers seized prohibited weapons, a number of airsoft pistols, two batons, cash, suspected crack cocaine and methamphetamine from inside the RV.

A man and a woman were arrested and have since been released with court-ordered conditions and dates.

“We heard from the community loud and clear about this RV,” said Sgt. Andrew Leaver. “Their reports to police made all the difference. They were our eyes and ears.”

Anyone with information about suspected drug trafficking or suspicious behaviour in their area is asked to contact New Westminster police.
