One person was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a hit-and-run in Surrey late Thursday night.
The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says the driver of a vehicle struck two pedestrians near the intersection of 88 Avenue and Nordel Way around 11:20 p.m.
One of the victims, a man, was taken to hospital in critical condition. Police did not describe the condition of the other.
The driver, also reportedly a man, fled the scene, and police say he abandoned the vehicle nearby.
Nordel Way remains closed to westbound traffic Friday morning as the SPS Collision Investigation Unit works.
