A 25-year-old woman is in critical condition after an SUV crashed into the back of a city bus on Saturday in Montreal.

Montreal police say the collision happened shortly before 5:50 p.m. in the Montreal-Nord borough at the intersection of Henri-Bourassa Boulevard and Salk Avenue.

Montreal’s public transit agency says the bus was at stop when it was struck from behind.

Police say the woman, a passenger in the SUV, was taken to the hospital in critical condition, while the 29-year-old driver suffered minor injuries.

No one on the bus was hurt.
