Jacob Fowler is on his way back to the NHL.
The Montreal Canadiens recalled the goaltender from the AHL’s Laval Rocket, the team announced on Wednesday.
Fowler was with the Habs for 10 games earlier this season. He went 4-4-2 with a .903 save percentage and a 2.62 goals-against average during that stretch. His last appearance came on Jan. 15 against the Buffalo Sabres.
With the Rocket, he’s made 27 appearances this campaign, boasting a .916 save percentage and a 2.23 goals-against average.
The Canadiens drafted Fowler in the third round in 2023.
Montreal currently holds the final wild-card spot in the East.
