The Coquihalla Highway remains closed Thursday morning after a major crash.
DriveBC first reported the closure starting at Othello Road, just north of Hope, around 10 p.m. Wednesday.
Details are limited, but callers to 1130 NewsRadio reported multiple semi trucks involved in the crash.
Meanwhile, that stretch of highway is under a travel advisory for “heavy snowfall and high winds producing limited visibility.”
To avoid the closure, drivers can take Highway 1 or the Hope-Princeton Highway to Highway 3.
DriveBC has not provided an estimated time for reopening the Coquihalla Highway. It is expected to provide an update at 8 a.m.
