It’s been a while since we’ve had a three-day holiday, so the Easter long weekend is a much-needed break for many after the long and dreary winter.
There are plenty of things to do around Toronto this weekend. If you are taking the TTC to get you where you need to go, keep in mind subways won’t be running on Line 1 between St. George and St. Andrew stations from 11:59 p.m. on Friday until Sunday due to planned station work. Regular service will resume on Monday.

Most big-chain grocery stores will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday, but some select locations will be open. Check with your local grocer for hours of operation.
