The Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) says it is investigating after a serious crash involving a pedestrian Friday afternoon.
Police say the driver has been arrested, and alcohol is a factor.
As of just after 4:30 p.m., police said they were on the scene at the intersection of Emerson Street and Simon Avenue.
The pedestrian has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) has been called in.
The intersection will likely be closed for several hours, the AbbyPD says.
