Burst water main near Vancouver’s Main Street causing flooded streets

A primary underground water pipeline burst near Main Street in Vancouver has caused traffic closures and flooded streets.

The incident occurred shortly before 9 a.m., and the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) says that the affected area is at the east corner of 19th Avenue and Main Street.

Officers say that the public is advised to avoid the area as the clean-up is still underway.
