Montrealers can enjoy the weekend sunshine for a bit longer to start the week but keep the umbrellas and raincoats within reach.
Monday starts out sunny, but clouds start rolling in with a 40 per cent chance of showers and thunderstorm in the afternoon. Evening will be cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers.
Temperature-wise Monday will see a high of 14 Celsius and a low of 3 C with a risk of frost and clear skies overnight.
Tuesday will be sunny with a high of 16 C. Periods of cloud in the evening will bring the temperature down to a low 6 C.
Rain returns mid-week with Wednesday seeing periods of rain with a high of 15 C and a low of 10 C.
Thursday will also be rainy during the day with a high of 16 C and turning to showers in the evening with a low of 11 C.
Friday will be similar with showers and a high of 17 C and a low of 11 C.
Weekend promises to be drier with a mix of sun and cloud and above 20 C daytime highs both Saturday and Sunday.
