Warm and sunny weather expected for Montreal long weekend, summer-like temperatures ahead next week

Montrealers heading into the long weekend can expect mostly warm and sunny conditions, with temperatures climbing well above seasonal averages by early next week.

After a few early morning showers Friday, skies are expected to clear through the day with a high of 20 Celsius.

Friday night is expected to remain mild, with a few clouds and a low of 11 C.

The warm weather continues Saturday with mainly sunny skies through the morning before increasing cloud cover near noon. Temperatures are expected to reach 23 C.

Cloudy periods are expected Saturday night with a low of 15 C.

Sunday is shaping up to be another bright and warm day across the city, with sunny skies and a high of 23 C. Clear conditions are forecast overnight with temperatures dipping to 10 C.

Holiday Monday is expected to bring the warmest weather of the long weekend, with sunshine and a high of 25 C. Cloudy periods move in Monday night along with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a low of 19 C.

The summer-like conditions are expected to continue into next week.

Tuesday’s forecast calls for sunny skies and a high of 29 C before clouds and a 60 per cent chance of showers move in overnight.

Wednesday is expected to bring a mix of sun and cloud with a 60 per cent chance of showers and a daytime high of 25 C.

Conditions are expected to cool slightly by Thursday, with a mix of sun and cloud and a forecast high of 19 C.
