The week will begin with hot, humid and windy conditions before cooler temperatures and periods of unsettled weather move into the forecast heading into the weekend.
Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) says temperatures are expected to reach 29 Celsius Tuesday, with a humidex making it feel closer to 35 C. Mainly cloudy skies and a 40 per cent chance of showers are expected throughout the day, along with southwest winds gusting up to 60 km/h.
Cloudy skies and a chance of showers are expected to continue Tuesday night with a low of 20 C.
Wednesday will bring mainly cloudy conditions and a chance of early morning showers before skies clear in the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to reach 22 C, with winds gusting up to 50 km/h. Clear skies are expected overnight with a low of 5 C.
Sunny weather is expected Thursday with a high of 16 C, followed by sunshine again Friday with temperatures climbing to 20 C.
Clouds are expected to return Saturday with a high of 19 C.
There is a 60 per cent chance of showers Sunday and Monday, with daytime highs near 18 C and 20 C.
