Montreal police (SPVM) has arrested five individuals allegedly linked to a cocaine trafficking network operating across the greater Montreal area.
The arrests were made on June 3 in Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. During searches, police seized seven firearms, nearly $54,000 in cash, and a variety of drugs, including cocaine, MDMA, crack, cannabis, hashish, and speed pills.
The suspects, ranging in age from 18 to 45, appeared at the Montreal courthouse and face multiple charges, including drug trafficking and possession of prohibited firearms.
The investigation was led by the SPVM’s Narcotics Unit under Project Investigations East, with support from several police units.
Authorities continue to encourage anyone with information related to drug trafficking to contact police or Info-Crime Montréal anonymously.
