A motorcyclist in his 20s was seriously injured following a collision in Longueuil early Saturday.
Longueuil police (SPAL) were called around 1:20 a.m. to a commercial centre parking lot on Cousineau Boulevard in the Saint-Hubert sector after reports of a crash.
When officers arrived, they found the man in critical condition. He was transported to hospital for treatment.
Police said investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision, with support from specialized collision reconstruction investigators and the Criminal Identification Section.
Authorities confirmed there were no traffic disruptions and the scene has since been cleared.
As of 9:10 a.m., police said they no longer feared for the victim’s life.
