A man is in critical condition after being stabbed following an argument in Montreal’s Ville-Marie borough on Monday morning.
Montreal police (SPVM) say officers were called to Gauchetière Street around 11 a.m. after receiving reports of a man who had been stabbed in the lower body.
According to the SPVM, the victim was allegedly stabbed by a woman following a dispute. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.
The victim was transported to hospital in critical condition.
Police have established a security perimeter as investigators work to determine the circumstances surrounding the stabbing. No arrests have been made yet.
