Transport Quebec announced that Highway 25, including the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel, will be closed toward Montreal during the weekend of July 3. This obstruction is required in order to transfer traffic to the new slabs of Highway 25 northbound, a little after exit 3 (Notre-Dame Street, Hochelaga Street). This transfer will make it possible to complete the slabs of the highway in this sector, as well as those of the ramp to Souligny Avenue westbound.
Highway 25 toward the South Shore, including the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel, will also be closed during the night of July 3 to 4. This obstruction is required to perform maintenance work.
