A 17-year-old boy was in critical condition after being found unconscious in a residential pool in Montreal’s borough Monday amid a heat wave.
Montreal police (SPVM) received a 911 call reporting a person unconscious in the backyard of a home on Lévesque Avenue, near Georges Avenue.
First responders administered CPR to the victim. He was taken to hospital in critical condition.
The victim was reportedly swimming at a friend’s house.
According to SPVM spokesperson, Manuel Couture, no criminal activity was suspected.
