Two Injured in Dramatic E-Bike and Vehicle Smash-Up in North York

Two men sustained serious injuries following a collision between a vehicle and an e-bike in North York, Toronto, early Tuesday morning.

The incident took place at approximately 5:20 a.m. at the corner of Leslie Street and Adra Grado Way, close to Sheppard Avenue East.

Authorities reported that emergency services were notified of a vehicle colliding with an e-bike carrying two men. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

Both men on the e-bike, who are adults, were taken to a trauma center by paramedics with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The intersection experienced traffic disruptions as law enforcement examined the area and crews worked to remove debris. Commuters were urged to anticipate delays while the investigation was ongoing.

The police have not disclosed the potential cause of the collision. Individuals who witnessed the incident or possess dashcam footage are urged to reach out to investigators.
