A series of vehicle damages in Surrey’s Newton neighborhood is under investigation by the Surrey Police Service (SPS). In the early hours of Wednesday morning, nine vehicles parked along 75 Avenue and 147A Street fell victim to vandalism. Reports indicated that two unidentified individuals were responsible for breaking the windows of these vehicles.
Despite a prompt response from multiple SPS units, the suspects managed to elude police before they arrived at the scene. The damaged vehicles suffered glass breakages on various windows, including the front, rear, and side panels.
The suspects, described as slender males in dark attire, were captured on surveillance images wielding clubs or bats to carry out the vandalism.
Authorities are urging anyone who may have information, video footage, or recognizes the suspects to contact the SPS at 604-599-0502, quoting file number 26-73430 (SP).
