Steve’s Music Store to Host Auction for Remaining Inventory as it Closes Doors
Steve’s Music Store has made the decision to close its last storefront and is now preparing to auction off its remaining inventory. The auction will feature a variety of items including musical instruments, professional audio equipment, DJ gear, and furniture.
The online auction is scheduled to take place on July 22 and 23, running from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Interested bidders are required to register in advance to participate in this unique sale event.
Having been a prominent presence for over sixty years, the beloved Montreal music store chain revealed earlier this year that it would be shutting down its physical locations in Quebec and Ontario. This move comes as a response to financial difficulties and a strategic shift towards focusing on online sales.
The flagship store, located on Sainte-Catherine Street in downtown Montreal, is the last standing storefront as the company prepares to bid farewell to its long-standing physical presence.
