Montreal police are asking for the public’s help in locating 65-year-old Mario Charette, a convicted sex offender who is wanted after allegedly breaching the conditions of his statutory release.
Montreal police (SPVM) says Charette was in Montreal when he violated the conditions of his release under the supervision of the Correctional Service of Canada. Investigators believe he could be anywhere in Quebec or elsewhere in Canada.
Charette is described as being 1.65 metres tall, weighing 89 kilograms, with grey hair, blue eyes and prescription glasses. He may also have a grey beard and mustache. Police say he has several distinctive tattoos and facial scars.
Anyone with information on the location of Mario Charette can go to their neighbourhood police station or contact the Sexual Assault Section directly at 514-280-8502.
