Southern Quebec is in for a mix of weather changes this week, starting with showers and a risk of thunderstorms on Monday. Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) predicts mainly cloudy skies, with showers expected early in the day and the potential for thunderstorms. Daytime temperatures are forecasted to reach 24 degrees Celsius, but with the humidex factored in, it may feel more like 33 degrees.
As the day progresses, the skies are anticipated to clear, leading to a low of 16 degrees Celsius overnight. Tuesday will bring back the sunshine, with a high of 27 degrees Celsius and a humidex of 32. The real heat is expected to peak on Wednesday, with clear skies and temperatures soaring to around 30 degrees Celsius.
Thursday will see clouds rolling in, increasing the likelihood of showers by evening and into Friday. Despite the cloud cover, daytime highs are projected to stay in the mid-to-high 20s. Heading into the weekend, a mix of sun and cloud is on the horizon, with temperatures climbing back up to approximately 30 degrees Celsius on Saturday and 29 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
