“Arson Probe Underway After Montreal Triplex Blaze – St-Michel District on High Alert”

Authorities in Montreal are currently looking into a suspected case of arson following a fire at a triplex in the St-Michel neighborhood early on Tuesday morning.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene on 10th Avenue, near Legendre Street, after receiving reports of a fire around 2:30 a.m. Fortunately, the fire seemed to have put itself out before causing significant damage. As a precaution, residents of the triplex were evacuated, and thankfully, no injuries were reported.

Police believe one or more suspects had fled the area prior to their arrival. Upon investigation, officials found incendiary materials, prompting the case to be handed over to the Montreal police arson unit.

As the inquiry progresses, authorities are reviewing potential surveillance footage from the vicinity. At present, no arrests have been made.
