LASSO Montreal is gearing up for its fifth year with a special pre-festival celebration called “LASSO in the City” on August 14. This city-wide extravaganza will feature free live performances, line dancing sessions, workshops, and a variety of country-themed activities at five different venues across Montreal.
This one-day event offers fans a sneak peek of the LASSO festival atmosphere before the official festivities on August 15 and 16 at Parc Jean-Drapeau. The participating venues – Riverside, Double’s, Brasseur de Montréal, Bon Délire, and Spaghetti Western – will each offer a unique take on the LASSO experience.
Attendees can look forward to a diverse range of entertainment including live music, DJ sets, dance lessons, workshops, special menu items, and themed cocktails. Additionally, lucky guests at each location will have the chance to win passes to LASSO Montreal for the ultimate festival weekend experience.
The celebration kicks off at Riverside with a line dancing session and personalized cowboy hat decoration workshop, accompanied by a LASSO cocktail and energetic DJ tunes. Meanwhile, Double’s will keep the country vibes going with a dedicated playlist and signature cocktails inspired by the occasion.
As the day transitions into evening, Brasseur de Montréal will host live country performances by talented artists Sarah Vanderzon and Kalsey Kulyk, along with refreshing LASSO beer on tap. Bon Délire will keep the party going with a country DJ, themed menu, and specialty cocktails to enjoy throughout the night.
At Spaghetti Western, guests can round off the evening with more line dancing, a thrilling encounter with a mechanical bull, and a lively DJ set starting at 10 p.m.
