Two teenagers were hospitalized on Monday night following a stabbing incident in Brampton that resulted in one of them sustaining life-threatening injuries. According to Peel paramedics who responded to the scene, emergency services were alerted around 10:45 p.m. to an apartment complex situated in the vicinity of Kennedy Road South and Steeles Avenue East.
Upon arrival, paramedics discovered two individuals under the age of 18 with stab wounds. One of the teens was swiftly transported to the hospital due to the severity of his injuries, while the second teen was also taken for treatment but with injuries deemed non-life-threatening, as confirmed by Peel EMS.
At present, the police have not disclosed any information regarding the circumstances that led to the stabbing, the status of a potential suspect in custody, or the relationship between the victims. Furthermore, the exact ages of the teenagers involved have not been officially confirmed.
The investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
