He emphasized the negative impact on local businesses, with over 40 business owners now suing the city for losses incurred due to the bike lanes.
Bradford expressed his firm stance on removing the bike lanes if elected as mayor, highlighting the detrimental effects they have had on the community. He proposed redirecting cycling investments towards a network of residential streets and multi-use trails in parks, hydro corridors, and ravines.
According to a recent survey, Olivia Chow leads in the mayoral race, but Bradford maintains a significant advantage in Etobicoke, where residents are divided on the contentious issue of the bike lanes.
