The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says it is investigating after shots were fired at a home in the Newton neighbourhood Wednesday.
Police say they were called to a home in the area of 76 Avenue and 124 Street shortly after 10:30 a.m. after a homeowner reported finding what they believed to be damage from gunshots on a building on their property.
When they arrived, they confirmed the damage was a result of gunfire.
No injuries have been reported, the SPS says.
Police say it is not known whether the incident is related to extortion.
