Ahead of the upcoming byelections on Sept. 3, eligible voters in Scarborough Southwest, York-Simcoe, and Hamilton East-Stoney Creek have the opportunity to make their voices heard early at advance polls.
In Scarborough Southwest, the NDP’s Doly Begum left her seat in February, prompting the need for a byelection. Meanwhile, the Conservatives aim to secure the vacant seats in York-Simcoe, previously held by Caroline Mulroney, and in Hamilton East-Stoney Creek, represented by Neil Lumsden. From Aug. 26 to 28, advance polling stations will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., allowing voters to conveniently participate in the electoral process.

Remember to bring identification displaying your name and residential address. While a voter information card serves as proof of address, another form of identification with your name is also necessary to cast your ballot.
