The annual Caribbean Food and Arts Festival captivated both locals and tourists in Montreal’s West Island, following a lively kickoff with Peter Nauth’s Concerts for Compassion Jamboree on Saturday. The festivities took place at the Macallan’s Pub parking lot on Hymus Boulevard, where a two-day celebration unfolded with a mix of live performances, cultural showcases, delectable Caribbean dishes, artisanal vendors, and family-friendly activities.
On Sunday, Island Fête came alive from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., welcoming everyone with free entry.
